The fun most certainly got fucked up when Azealia Banks’ #MERMAIDBALLNYC went down at the Bowery Ballroom. The joint was decked out in deep sea swag, the cotton candy was flowing and all the little fishies came out for a night of fun set to the soundtrack of a killer lineup under a sea of bubbles. The very luxurious Jack Mizrahi narrated the night and the bounciest bunny in town, Roxy Cottontail hosted.

I was moving from the moment I arrived until we left. WC Kids kept it live. House of Ladosha was real cute and kunt. Maluca was muy mala (in the good way, keep an ear out for her mixtape) and Tigga Calore got the crowd hype. By the time rolled around for Azealia I had already worked up a sweat. That’s when it all went down.

I kept it real fishy during the costume contest. I wore a iridescent sequined cashmere sweater which was a recent vintage find. My gold American Apparel swim trunks + some fishnets and other sealicious accessories to complete the look.
Since you know I keeps it real. I didn’t think I would be crowned #fairestfish in the sea but I worked it out against the fiercest cod on da block. Ya boy was hittin them dips!
