I’m gracious that I was allowed backstage amidst the preshow mayhem to get some snaps at Rad by Rad Hourani. Shooting backstage is far different and far more interesting for me because you get to witness the transformation leading up to the moment when the first look hits the runway. Models are ushered back and forth between being dressed and prepped as they become the living embodiment of the collection.

This is always something very special to me especially when it comes to Rad because I see the importance of transformation in his work. The models in his shows always have such a distinct and precise image that works nicely alongside the neat, polished clothing.
